Sergei originally worked at KPMG from 1995 until 2006, occupying a variety of different positions within the Audit and Tax Departments. From 2006 until 2010, he served as head of tax and financial advisory services at a large, international law firm. In 2010, Sergei rejoined KPMG as partner in the Corporate Tax practice of the Tax & Legal Department. Sergei is responsible for Oil & Gas and Power & Utilities sectors and for KPMG’s Corporate Tax practice. Sergei’s advisory clients include some of the largest Russian companies from the Oil & Gas and Power & Utilities sectors. Sergei has vast experience in advising major foreign and domestic companies on both Russian and international tax issues, including cross-border structuring, general tax consulting, and audit and tax dispute resolution.
