The KPMG Strategy group invites graduates and postgraduates to join the team in Moscow for an Internship programme.

If you are interested in a career in strategic consulting welcome to apply to the internship, which is chance to get a full-time job as a consultant upon successful programme completion.

Selection process: Graduates

To apply for the Internship you need to submit an application via the KPMG Recruitment System on our website. 

1. The first stage includes initial screening based on your application form, CV and cover letter.

We look at your education, achievements, initiatives and extra-curricular activities (educational programmes, case competitions, conferences, etc).

In addition, experience of internships at well-known companies is desirable.If your application takes our interest, we will contact you to ask you a few questions about your CV, discuss expectations and advise you about the next steps.

2. Online-testing.

The online testing stage consists of two tests: a numerical test and a verbal test.

The online format allows you to complete tests at any convenient time and place where you have Internet access.

The numerical test assesses your ability to understand information presented in charts, graphs and tables. It lasts for exactly 20 minutes.

The verbal test assesses your comprehension of written texts. It lasts for 18 minutes.Before the tests, there will be some sample questions which are not timed or scored so that you know what to do before you start the test itself. You will have the choice of doing the tests in English or Russian. 

 

3. Written Case.

If successful with your online tests, you will be invited to a written case. The case will be sent to you via email in the form of a home task due by the agreed date.

The written case is an opportunity for us to get a better understanding of your grasp of the subject. You will be given some data about a client case and timeline to answer the questions with your solution in PDF slides in Russian.

4. HR interview.

If you successfully pass the first two stages we will invite you to an HR interview. The interview usually lasts for about 50 minutes.

This is a behavioural-based interview; think carefully about past situations which demonstrate your capabilities. Try to focus on your specific contribution, actions and outcome. The most important thing is to discuss situations where you felt challenged because these are the ones where we are likely to see your true potential. Be prepared to discuss your background, achievements and project involvement as well as your career choice and grasp of strategy consulting. In addition, part of the interview will be conducted in English to check your language level, as you will have to communicate with expats, prepare English documents and work on international projects. There will also be time for you to ask the interviewer about KPMG, career opportunities, etc.

5. Case Interviews.

2-3 case interviews with Strategy group consultants. During the interview, you will discuss your past experience, activities and do a case study. You will be asked to solve a business case based on a real client engagement. You will need to find an approach to solving the case, think rationally and be logical in your approach. You will also need to be able to perform calculations quickly (without a calculator), as the case may involve numerical data, statistics and other indicators. As with any challenge, good preparation is essential.

We encourage you to spend as much time as you can preparing for each stage so that you can demonstrate your best qualities.
