Support for R&D projects carried out by companies in the chemical industry

Deadline for application submissions

The application process for funding will be conducted through the process of a competition during the period 1 February to 1 March 2016.


Who can apply for support?

Support will be available to businesses and consortia of companies.


Subject of funding

Funding will be granted for realization of projects, which involve industrial research and/or development work concerning the following areas:

  • purification of raw materials,
  • extracting of alternative raw materials,
  • refining of crude oil and its products,
  • additives for fuels and mineral oils,
  • basic chemical products,
  • fertilizers,
  • high volume polymer materials and additives and their products,
  • specialist products and materials,
  • construction materials and supportive additives,
  • plant protection products and biocidal products,
  • development and use of highly processed materials and nanotechnology,
  • green chemistry,
  • technologies of hybrid and composites materials,
  • chemical aspects of the production and storage of energy,
  • optimization of processes,
  • low emission production technologies.

A detailed description of the abovementioned areas is included in Appendix 1 to the competition regulations.


Level of support

The level of aid will be between 25 and 80 percent of eligible costs of the project (depending on type of R&D and size of the enterprise).

The budget of the competition was set at 120 million PLN.


Rules for realization of the project

The minimum value of eligible costs of the project amounts to 1 million PLN, and maximum value of the eligible costs is 20 million PLN.
