Monika is a Director at KPMG and has over 17 year experience in audit and advisory relating to financial statements prepared in accordance with Polish and international financial reporting standards including implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). During her work she gained valuable experience working for Audit New Zealand, provider of audit and assurance services to the public sector. Main responsibilities included supervising projects relating to IFRS implementation and the audit of financial statements of such public institutions as NZ regional or city councils. Between 2008 – 2011 Monika worked in Department of Professional Practice supporting audit teams in terms of proper application of International Financial Reporting Standards, Polish Accounting Act or International Standards on Auditing. In 2011 Monika started working in Accounting Advisory Team and specializes in accounting advisory services related to IFRS application, accounting for M&A and preparation of consolidated financial statements.Monika also provided many trainings for accounting and financial departments related to financial reporting and the practical application of the IFRS, she provided presentations during conferences for the managers and Board of directors.
