Michał has 22 years of experience in planning, preparing, contracting, leading and accounting construction investments in Poland and abroad, both in public and private procurement. He led, among others, the construction of the A2 highway section A, the construction of a chemical factory for a Danish investor in the vicinity of Poznań, the construction of a light manufacturing factory in Pruszcz Gdański, a construction of a science and technology park in Puławy, the construction of an apartment hotel in Warsaw. He is particularly interested in the questions of the cooperation of parties in investments, settlements, change implementation, claims and disputes. He has advised within this scope the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways between 2004 and 2007 on behalf of the European Investment Bank. All the investments have been concluded successfully avoiding any escalation of disputes, which has characterized the road industry in the next EU perspective. For many years he has advised both contractors and procurers in the questions of securing their economic interests in construction contracts. He has led and actively participated in proceedings before the Warsaw District Court, the International Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration in Paris, the Polish National Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration - both as a procurator and a technical advisor of respective parties. He has participated in the management of contracts worth more than PLN 20 billion. He is the author of over 20 publications in the field of construction contracts, claims, changes, valuation and investments. He has worked at KPMG since May 2015.
