Iwona has over 20 years of experience in providing advisory services to clients across the financial sector. She has participated in many projects involving large banks and financial institutions, concerning implementation and advisory in the field of International Accounting Standards, financial risk management, including estimation of credit risk parameters and impairment charges, ESG risk management, analysis of corporate loan portfolios, valuation of loans portfolios and other financial instruments and implementation of capital regulations. Iwona has extensive transactional experience related to due diligence reviews and advising on closing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), gained through cooperation with entities in financial sector. She also has managed post-transaction projects regarding the integration of finance and risk areas. She has also advised on the acquisition of cooperative savings and credit unions (SKOK). In addition, she has vast experience in the area of auditing individual and consolidated financial statements of financial institutions, both in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. She was also involved in SOX 404 implementation projects, reviews of the effectiveness of internal control, and processes of debt instruments issuance in the financial sector. Iwona also conducted lectures and workshops on selected accounting and regulatory issues at KPMG Business Academy.
