KPMG held another event for “Transfer Pricing in Egypt” on 26th October 2016 at Fairmont Nile City, providing an overview of transfer pricing and its application in Egypt in general and in targeted sectors of our clients. A large number of our valuable long-term clients were invited. The aim of the event was to illustrate and discuss the importance of preparing acceptable transfer pricing reports, in addition to essential documentation and sources to be prepared in order to avoid any disputes with the tax authority, and how KPMG could assist its clients in this regard.

The event commenced with a speech by Mr. Mohamed Allam, the head of tax practice at KPMG Hazem Hassan, who emphasized the importance of transfer pricing in Egypt, especially in light of income tax law no 90 of 2005. Capitalizing on KPMG’s extensive global network, the key speaker was Mr. Hasnain Shroff, a partner at KPMG India specialized in transfer pricing and his director Poonam Ghelani.
