Leading professional services firm KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. (KPMG RGM&Co.) recently gathered industry leaders, clients, partners, and friends at the Rigodon Ballroom, Peninsula Manila for an unforgettable evening of celebration and looking to the future as it marked its 10th year of providing quality growth and expert services to its clients in the Philippines.
Since its founding in 2007 by Roberto G. Manabat and Emmanuel P. Bonoan, KPMG RGM&Co. has weathered many financial crisis and other challenges to become, today, one of the strongest and fastest growing member firms of KPMG in the region, driven by dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
In his remarks, KPMG RGM&Co. chairman and CEO Roberto G. Manabat bared the next chapter in the firm’s continuing growth story with the appointment of Sharon G. Dayoan, currently vice chair and head of audit, as chairman- and CEO-designate effective January 1, 2018. He also took the opportunity to thank their clients for deep trust and steadfast confidence forged over the years.
“More than just a gathering of clients and colleagues, tonight is an appreciation of lasting relationships that has been nurtured through the years,” he relates. “It is also our way of thanking you for being more than just loyal clients but dedicated business partners.”
For her part, Dayoan expounded on the KPMG RGM&Co.’s core values, at the same time announcing the establishment of the firm’s corporate social responsibility arm, the KPMG R.G. Manabat Foundation. “The Foundation’s main thrust is to improve communities through education, scholarship and community development programs,” she revealed. “Last January, the firm has made a PhP1,000,000 donation which will serve as the seed money of the Foundation.”
Indeed, on its 10th year, KPMG RGM&Co. faces the future with enthusiasm, ready to seize greater opportunities ahead.
