During college, I always thought of how and what it feels like to become an Intern. Since internship is usually short-term and a one-time experience, I would choose a firm which has a good reputation and where I can have more learning experiences in my field of interest.

My mother introduced me to KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. I started my internship in the middle of 2014 and right after I passed the board exam, my only choice was to join KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. (KPMG RGM&Co.) or a private company. I did not think of joining any other audit firms but KPMG RGM&Co. because I believe I made the right decision when I chose to do my internship in the Firm. It’s true that there are a lot of things to stress over when you start your first job, but I was less worried since I was already familiar with the Firm’s culture. I was able to feel comfortable easily, especially because I had friends who joined the Firm, too. For the last nine months I have been with the Firm, I can say that I am happy with my
decision.

Currently, I work in Tax under the Global Mobility Services (GMS) group and I am enjoying my work and the company of my teammates. Surely, maintaining good relationships with your co-workers does not happen overnight, but with all the exciting social gatherings organized by the Firm, you will feel enthusiastic getting to know the people better.
