Companies are under increasing pressure to identify and address human rights issues in their operations, supply chains, and product and service portfolios. Failure to do so can bring serious risks to business: not only risks to brand value, reputation and relationships, but also an increasing risk of litigation and of non-compliance with a growing body of human rights legislation. It also brings risks to people as companies could be implicit in, or directly responsible for, negatively impacting human rights.
