KPMG in New Zealand

Paul is our tax partner within the firm. He has worked in the New Zealand tax field since 1990, was previously a tax lawyer with Inland Revenue and has extensive tax advisory experience with KPMG. As well as advising clients on a broad range of domestic and international tax issues, Paul has been the head of KPMG’s research and development (R&D) incentives practice since 2006. This has involved advising clients on R&D tax credits and the wide range of grants available from central and local Government. Paul is also lead tax advisor to a number of New Zealand’s leading sporting and community based organisations. In addition, Paul is our National Leader for our China Business Practice.
