Øystein Olsen is the Governor of Norges Bank and Chair of the Executive Board. He has held this post since 1 January 2011 and was re-appointed on 1 January 2017 for a second six-year term. Previously Olsen has been Director General at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and Director General of Statistics Norway.
