The global campaign to address tax base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) is in full swing, dramatically changing the tax landscape around the world. European governments have all expressed their commitment to this development and are eager to help shape and refine the plan.
The European Commission unveiled its EU Anti-Tax Avoidance Package earlier this year which aims at addressing tax abuse, ensuring sustainable revenues and fostering a better business environment in the internal market.
KPMG Law Advokatfirma AS, in cooperation with KPMG Meijburg & Co, invites you to join us for a breakfast session. We will present EU Developments, including a summary of the current proposed Anti Tax Avoidance Directive, and look at how BEPS will impact future tax legislation.
It is currently scheduled that the EU will take a final decision on this directive on May 25. So we may be able to discuss during our breakfast meeting the approved (part) of the Directive. Apart from this, we will highlight current and future developments in the Netherlands and Norway.
