Is current reporting to investors still adequately serving decisions?
17-09-2018, 3.30 - 6.30, CET
Is current reporting to investors still adequately serving decisions? Shouldn’t businesses much more vigorously implement long-term value creation as set out in the Dutch Corporate Governance Code? And where should corporate reporting develop into, including related assurance?
'Businesses should take a much bigger role in resolving societalissues' and 'companies’ annual reports provide insufficient insight into the intrinsic value drivers' are statements that deserve to be debated.
This is a meeting for executive directors and non-executive board members of listed and large non-listed companies. Rients Abma from Eumedion and Paul Koster from Vereniging Effecten Bezitters will share the investors’ views on long-term value creation and corporate reporting. In addition, various experts will discuss their vision and experiences regarding corporate reporting and express their opinion on statements that we will present to the audience.
