Insights into the consequences of Brexit for businesses.
23-04-2018 - 24-04-2018, 1.45 - 2.38, CET
Brexit is fast approaching. The United Kingdom intends leaving the Single Market and Customs Union on March 29, 2019.
There is increasing unease because the consequences of Brexit are still not clear. We notice that there is a real need in the business sector for tangible insights. Not only with regard to the actual consequences but also with regard to what needs to be done.
That's why we will be addressing all these issues during this meeting, which was organized in close cooperation with VNO-NCW, Deltalinqs and NBCC.
A simulation based on two case studies will provide insight into the consequences of Brexit for businesses. We use an integrated business approach for this, whereby the HR, IT, Finance, Tax and Supply Chain positions presented in the case studies will be explained and studied in depth. In short, a practical approach that we would like to share with you on April 23, 2018, in Amstelveen and on April 24, 2018, in Rotterdam.
In addition to practical matters, our keynote speaker, Luisa Santos, will provide an update in her capacity as Chair of Business Europe's Brexit Task Force. With a panel consisting of representatives from VNO-NCW, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, The Greenery and Deltalinqs, we will discuss the outcome of the case studies and the expectations for the coming months. We believe that the combination of theory and practice will provide the insights desired by the business sector.
