SOFY is an enterprise application platform focused on analytics. General questions

What is the philosophy behind SOFY?
At KPMG we are continuously investing to innovate our services to increase the added value we deliver to our clients. We believe that recent advancements in technology (cloud, analytics) can enable us to help clients continuously by monitoring their data streams and deriving insights from that. These findings complement our advisory services which are generally project based and focused to resolve specific problems.

Which source systems does SOFY support?
We currently support SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and AX ERP systems. We are always looking into other opportunities so please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific source system.

Can you keep me updated about new SOFY apps?
Yes, of course we can. Please send us an email if you want to subscribe to our newsletter.

Technical questions

Which security measures are taken to store our data?
The data used by the SOFY cloud platform is stored in the Microsoft Azure Cloud or SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Both vendors are committed to securing their platforms and have taken various measures to do so.On top of that the SOFY application has a number of security measures to further secure your data. Please contact us for more information.

Is it also possible to use the SOFY applications on premise?
Besides the cost-efficient and secure cloud solutions we also offer tailored solutions. These solutions can be hosted on premise and optionally include customization and KPMG consulting. Please contact us for further information.

How do you connect to our on premise ERP system and extract the data?
SOFY supports both real time and batch based data integration. In both cases standard vendor supported technology is used which our customers in most cases already have in place. Setting up the data exchange is part of the implementation process.

Terms of service

How long does it take to start using one of the SOFY applications?
SOFY is designed to be implemented with very little effort and can be used out of the box with nearly no customization. We've seen customers implementing SOFY apps in as little as 1 day. More complex implementation can take up to a few weeks depending on the situation. The process itself is fully supported by our dedicated consultants.

How do I get support while using my SOFY application?
Support on using the application is included into the subscription fee. Our SOFY support team will be available to answer your questions by e-mail or via the phone. Your account manager will work with you throughout your subscription period to ensure you are getting value out of the solution.Finally specialized consultants from our global KPMG network are available on request to support specific projects at additional costs.

Can I buy and and use all SOFY applications in every country?
Availability of the SOFY products varies per country. Please contact us or your local KPMG firm to learn more about availability in your country.In the Netherlands we can't deliver this service to Dutch PIE's (Organisaties van Openbaar Belang) who are audit client of KPMG in respect to our independence.
