Our lives are more and more guided and governed by big data, whether you’re aware of it or not. Smartphones and websites propose optimal navigation routes, suggestions for movies, holidays and relevant news for you. This is very useful and convenient, but also brings many questions. Which (personal) data do I share? Is my data secure? How is my data being used by companies? Why does an algorithm make certain choices? Do these choices align with my own ethical standards?
