Anna is sector lead for KPMG Health in the Netherlands and is KPMG’s global lead for Care System Redesign. Anna has more than thirty years of experience in healthcare in various senior roles as board member and consultant for healthcare providers, government and consulting firms. In her roles for KPMG Anna has worked extensively with clients worldwide, leading the development of healthcare infrastructures that are sustainable for the future. She has supervised a number of successful national and regional transformational programs based on design and implementation of new service delivery models, physical infrastructures, reimbursement models and governance-structures. The journey towards digital healthcare and the concept of the Connected Healthcare Infrastructure are central elements in her work for clients. Anna is the author of several global KPMG-publications on Value Based Health Care in integrated systems, on Out of Hospital care provision and on future tech enabled care delivery systems. Anna is a highly appreciated speaker at international health care events. Holding an Msc in psychology and economics and a PhD in economics she combines both the strategic and financial, and the process-skills needed for large scale transformations
