Dapo Okubadejo is Partner & Head of Deal Advisory Services in KPMG in Nigeria and also heads the Deal Advisory African practice. Dapo’s Africa M&A and Transaction Advisory team is responsible for business planning, market expansion and entry advisory, option assessment, feasibility studies, M&A advisory, disposals, business valuation, due diligence as well as deal execution and financing. He is also responsible for thought leadership, liaison with global clients on in-bound investments into Africa & with African conglomerates & multinationals in cross-border deals and reports to KPMG Africa Board. Dapo’s representative clients include PE firms and strategic and financial investors amongst others.
With over 25 years of experience, Dapo has advised several entities, conglomerates, strategic and financial investors on transactions and business deals across varied industries and sub-sectors in the public and private perspectives. His team’s value proposition entails the provision of end-to-end services and advising clients through the deal cycle. Dapo is an accredited Corporate Finance and Transaction Services practitioner. He and his team have published many sector and market focused thought leadership publications. He was recently on the CNBC (KPMG conversation series) live broadcast to provide insights on strategies for investing in Africa.
