Job Shadowing Program

Program Overview

This is a program designed for pre-university students who are in their Senior Secondary II and its equivalent till pre-university/college group. It also accommodates university students outside the regular KPMG internship Program. The screening process would be based on referral from Partners and Associate Directors.

 

Entry Criteria

  • All referred candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be within the group of Senior Secondary II or its equivalent and pre-university/college group
  • Must have completed Senior Secondary II or its equivalent and have made at least 5 credits as at the last released result with a minimum of B in both
  • Mathematics and English

 

Period

  • Duration of program is set at a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 1 month. Students are required to work for ONLY 4 hours daily (9 am – 2pm) with one hour Lunch inclusive.
  • There is no cash compensation attached to this program.
  • Lunch would be provided for all Job shadowing interns

Regular Temporary Program

Program Overview

This program is designed for candidates who do not meet the Regular Internship Program base on the minimum weeks of availability or at not suitable for graduate hire recruitment but have relevant required skills for a particular project or task. Candidates are engaged for a minimum period of one month.

 

Entry Criteria

  • O’levels must be a minimum of 5 credits Maths and English inclusive at a sitting
  • Undergraduate/graduate from any discipline with a minimum of second class degree.

 

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be interviewed by preferred unit of choice.
  • Exposure to the KPMG work experience
  • No automatic conversion into full staff upon completion of program.

Delivery Centre Program

Program Overview

This is an unlimited time-based internship course for accounting technicians with a minimum of 6 months engagement with the Delivery Center except for rehires. This program is for Accounting undergraduate/graduates from any Nigerian Polytechnic. i.e OND/HND with minimum of upper credit.

 

Entry Criteria

  • O’levels must be a minimum of 5 credits Maths and English inclusive
  • OND/HND Accounting graduates with a minimum of Upper credit
  • ICAN will be an added advantage

 

Selection Process

  • Take the Delivery Center Aptitude and Computer Based Test
  • Attend Delivery Center Assessment Center and Partner Interview

KPMG Internal Audit Academy

Program Overview

This program is designed for graduates who are interested in building experience within our internal Audit unit for a year prior to permanent employment. The participants in the program will be well-trained (classroom and field), and they will also obtain first-hand internal audit experience while working with KPMG during the period.

 

Entry Criteria

  • O’levels must be a minimum of 5 credits Maths and English inclusive at a sitting
  • Graduate from any discipline with a minimum of 2.1 and above who must have completed NYSC.
  • Candidates must have good analytical skills

KPMG Audit Accounting Academy

Program Overview

This academy is a sponsored model, which enables accounting graduates who have completed their NYSC to gain professional qualification in accounting – ACA, before they join the Firm. Successful candidates at the Audit Recruitment Process will be: Tutored by selected ICAN tuition houses, with ICAN lecture and examination fees paid by the Firm.

 

Entry Criteria

  • O’levels must be a minimum of 5 credits Maths and English inclusive at a sitting
  • Accounting graduates, with a minimum of second class upper degree who have completed NYSC or are awaiting NYSC and to be mobilized to serve in Lagos State
  • Non accounting graduates are also eligible, but must have passed at least 2 papers at ICAN skills level and must demonstrate commitment to become Chartered Accountants

 

Selection Process

  • Candidates must be below 25 years
  • Must pass the KPMG Aptitude test and the online Situational Judgment Test (SJT)
  • Must pass the Audit Assessment Centre stage
  • Provide trainees with an opportunity to demonstrate ability to work in KPMG
