Tax and immigration are critical areas which demand attention for global companies which move talent around the world, whether on short-term or long term assignments. Non-compliance with tax and immigration laws can be costly to employers in view of severe fines, penalties and administration costs, in addition to potential reputational damage to companies and undue stress to international assignees. A more proactive approach to advance planning for international assignees helps a company effectively to reduce related risks and costs.
This session will cover the tax and immigrations considerations that HR personnel or personnel tasked with payroll matters would need to consider in the planning stages. Our two experienced speakers will go through the tax and immigration issues associated with international assignees who are on short term or long term assignment to Malaysia.
The following topics will be covered during the workshop:
RM1,000 per participant. (10% discount is given for registration of two or more participants and KPMG Alumni members)
