Sia Chin Hoe

Sia Chin Hoe is the Head of IT Audit of KPMG in Malaysia. He is also an approved company auditor in Malaysia and has 20 years of experience in the financial and IT audit, internal controls review, and due diligence exercise for both the local and international market. Sia is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (“CISA”), an ISACA® Certification. He is a regular speaker at both local and international university and college events, webinars, lecturers, and forums for Malaysian Institution of Accountants and ISACA in relation to audit and IT audit.

Sia has many years’ experience in helping the clients to assess the automated applications controls, reliability and integrity of their companies’ IT environment and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their companies’ IT risk management processes, internal controls designs, and IT governance.

He also helped the clients to assess their newly implemented ERP systems and provided opinions to shared services organization according to ISAE3402, the standards under International framework for assurance engagements. Sia is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is currently the audit engagement partner of many local and international e-Commerce, e-Wallet, e-Payment and technology solutions companies, IT and financial shared services organizations.
