Appointment of a new Director within KPMG

Hermione Arciola has been appointed as a Director in KPMG’s advisory function, focusing principally on Transactions & Restructuring, with effect from 1 January 2014.

Ms. Arciola joined KPMG’s Transactions and Restructuring team in 2007 on her return from London where she successfully completed an MSc in International Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, she gained a number of years of professional experience with another Big 4 firm. Since joining KPMG, Ms Arciola has accumulated a wealth of experience through her involvement in a large number of Transactions and Restructuring assignments. Ms Arciola has been involved in a number of transactions managing, amongst others, local and cross border vendor and buy-side due diligence assignments for clients operating in various sectors, as well as, financial due diligence work for entities seeking to list their securities on the Malta Stock Exchange. She has also managed a number of valuation engagements, including both business and real estate valuations. Ms Arciola has advised clients on financing options available with particular emphasis on tapping the local capital market.               

Ms Arciola holds an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from Cass Business School, London and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) from the University of Malta. She is Certified Public Accountant and a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
