Seminar on tax reform in Latvia

2 November 2017, 1:30PM - 6:00PM, EET

About the seminar

In July the Parliament approved amendments to tax legislation which will enter into effect in 2018. These provisions will have a significant impact on the taxpayers, both legal entities and natural persons. During the approval process of the draft legislation the features of the tax reform changed notably. Although the reform will not be in force for another three months, it would not be wise to postpone finding out what to expect in 2018 to the very end of this year. There are a number of measures and activities that business may carry out now to become better prepared for the reform such as aligning their accounting procedures to simplify the recording of the new corporate income tax and personal income tax, submitting calculations and declarations as well as making potential changes in operations or group structures.

The seminar will be lead by: Steve Austwick (Partner, head of tax in Latvia), Ilze Berga (Certified tax consultant with more than 10 years of experience) un Ivonna Balode (Project manager, certified tax consultant).

Important notice: The seminar will be held in English.
