Steve Austwick

Steve has been leading KPMG’s Tax and Legal Department for the last 13 years. He is also the Head of Real estate Group of KPMG Baltics, and the Energy Sector in KPMG in Latvia. Tax professional with experience in several international professional services firms in various countries from 1988, worked for the BIG 4 firms in the UK, Latvia and Russia.

He has worked on and led a whole range of transaction related tax engagements including mergers and acquisitions, due diligences, international structuring and acquisition assistance. A major focus of his work in recent years has been managing the tax (and legal) service provision to inward investors and overseas-owned companies. He has advised clients on all types of tax, legal and other issues.
