Philippe Meyer will succeed Georges Bock as Managing Partner of KPMG Luxembourg as of October 1.

The decision follows the elections at the audit and consulting firm which are held every four years. Meyer will take over as head of a company of nearly 1,400 employees.

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims, 49-year-old Meyer joined KPMG at the beginning of his career. A certified auditor, he has over 25 years' experience in audit, mainly in trade and industry sectors.

In recent years he was in charge of the Quality & Risk Management department of KPMG.
