Participate in the second survey in this annual series: KPMG Global PropTech Survey 2018 - gain rich insight into the global industry’s conversations around “PropTech” and identify where attitudes and approaches have moved forward.

This annual survey aims to map the impact that innovation and technology are having across the real estate industry, and to better understand what steps organisations are taking to adapt to the new digital ecosystem. The results will help monitor the pace of change that the industry has gone through over the last 12 months and help organisations to benchmark their approaches against their local and international peers.

Key findings from last year’s results:

  • 331 survey respondents from across EMEA, ASPAC and the Americas.
  • 92% of respondents said they think digital and technology innovation will impact their business, but more than half (53%) ranked themselves at five or less out of ten when it comes to digital and innovation maturity.
  • 66% of respondents did not have an enterprise-wide digital and innovation strategy.
  • 89% agreed that traditional real estate organisations need to engage with PropTech companies in order to adapt to the changing global environment
  • Only half of respondents scored themselves more than 6 out 10 in terms of how actively they are looking to collaborate with technology partners.
