The new EU rules on anti-tax avoidance and their impact in Luxembourg

Join our tax team for an update on the latest international tax developments impacting Luxembourg corporate taxpayers

13 October 2016, 5:00PM - 6:30PM, CET

Following the BEPS initiatives launched by the OECD, new rules
against tax avoidance practices have been agreed on at the EU level.

The Anti-Tax-Avoidance Directive (“ATAD”) has indeed been
adopted in July 2016.

All member states, including Luxembourg, have now until 31
December, 2018 to implement the provisions of the ATAD in their domestic
legislations.

Come and hear from KPMG tax professionals and a representative from Blackrock what the possible impact of the new EU anti-tax-avoidance rules will be for Luxembourg and for your business.

The discussion will focus on the following topics:

  • What is the content of the ATAD?
  • How might Luxembourg corporate taxpayers be affected?
  • What will be the impact for investment funds?
