For the second consecutive year, KPMG International won the International Accounting Bulletin Award “Social Media Networking Champion of the Year 2015”. IAB is a global magazine, which focusses on business issues affecting accounting firms, networks and associations. Besides its leading accounting news, the magazine is also recognized for its vital data and analysis provided by its survey features. IAB is owned by Timetric, an expanding economic and business research firm that provides decisive information on emerging economies and key global industries.
KPMG was rewarded for significant growth in its social media engagement across the channels. Furthermore, the IAB judges were impressed by KPMG’s WEFLIVE initiative, an innovative social media aggregation site that provides a simple way to follow Twitter conversations from delegates and trending topics emanating from the 2014 World Economic Forum in Davos.
