Majid iscurrently working as a Director in the Management Consulting practice in Kuwait and he is specified in IT Advisory. Majid has joined KPMG in 2016 and he has over 15 years of consulting experience in Big 4 and other system integrators.
Majid has extensive experience in managing and delivering large program transformation including IT and Business Transformation.
Professional and Industry Experience
Majid led the implementation of ICT Strategy Implementation Program (ISIP) by achieving the mission and vision of for the ICT function of Public Work Authority Qatar.
Led a ERP Transformation Program for National Health Insurance Company including ERP Strategy, Vendor Selection, and implementation readiness, future process design, chart of account design and implementation supervision.
Led the evaluation of ERP system for Hamad Medical Corporation including technical evaluation, commercial evaluation, vendor negotiation, implementation planning and readiness assessment
Led the implementation of a large transformation program ($5+M) over cross- functional departments for Gulf Drilling International; the program had several strategic initiatives including:
•Business Process Re-engineering for the entire organization
•System Selection and evaluation for best-of-breed Enterprise Assessment Management solution
•Development of business cases and benefit management plans
•Implementation of Oracle advanced modules including Oracle Hyperion and DBI
•Implementation of IBM Maximo Asset Management System
•Master data classification, cleansing, and collection for engineering data
•Led the IT-Enablement stream of the Finance Transformation for Hamad Medical Corporation including:
•Oracle-Enabled finance transformation including BRP, CoA & Operating Model design
•System Selection & evaluation for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System
•Master data transformation including Data Quality Assessment, Data Transformation Strategy, and implementation supervision
Led the establishment of enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) for the Bank of Masraf Al Rayan Bank including: Design of PMO governance framework, guidelines, processes and tools and operate the PMO including initiatives prioritization, strategic alignment, integrated program planning (IPP), dependency management, business case & benefit management and executive reporting
Led the IT Effectiveness program for Al Jaber Group, a leading family-owned group, to assess the effectiveness of the IT function for 8 subsidiaries including IT Maturity Assessment, Gap Analysis, IT Operating Model, identifying improvement initiatives and prioritizing key improvement initiatives into an implementation roadmap
