With over 15 years’ experience, Chris now based in the UK after 5 years in East Africa, is a Director with IDAS Africa. Chris has worked with non-governmental organisations, government and the private sector in an advisory and external and internal audit capacity. Chris has expertise in change management, programme management and governance, organisational development and financial strengthening, fiduciary risk management and public financial management. Chris set up a pan African fiduciary risk assessment practice, which together with the organisational development and financial strengthening work that his team delivers, is critical to helping grantees and organisations increase their viability and resilience.
Chris’ passion for participatory development comes from nearly 15 years supporting grass-root micro-finance and primary education work in East Nepal – where he returns most years to facilitate organisational development workshops in Nepali. At the other extreme Chris works with regional intergovernmental organisations such as the EAC Secretariat. Chris has worked with boards of international development charities over the last 15 years. He is a proud father with a focus on the broader community.
Chris is the primary lead in the pursuit of substantial opportunities.
