A dynamic business environment can often challenge the knowledge, skills, capability and expertise of talent within an organisation. To meet the changing needs, identifying and developing the required competencies amongst the talent pool becomes vital.

With the objective of helping enhance organisational as well as individual performance, KPMG in India has launched specialised learning and development programmes through its Leadership Learning Academy.

These programmes are targeted at developing specialised skills that can lead to a ‘Talent+ Assessor Certification’. The programmes are conducted by reputed KPMG faculty using reliable tools, techniques and methodologies through a combination of conceptual inputs, presentations, discussions, individual and group exercises, case studies, simulations, role-plays and experience sharing, which is followed by an evaluation of the acquired skills.

Through its Talent+ KPMG provides a platform for assessing competencies of the workforce. Organisations and professionals need to build their capabilities to appreciate the assessment process, identify the right talent and channelise efforts towards the development of sought-after skills. The assessments are carried out by specialist practioners or ‘assessors’ who are trained to make tool-based observations, classify behaviours, record evidence and provide evaluations leading to development of initiatives which would enhance performance.
