The ISO/IEC 20000 is an international standard for a service management system (SMS). It provides requirements for a SMS needed to deliver services of an acceptable quality. KPMG offers three courses as per the APMG ISO/IEC 20000 qualification scheme.
ISO/IEC 20000 foundation
The ISO/IEC 20000 foundation is aimed at students wishing to demonstrate foundation level knowledge of ISO/IEC 20000. The course includes generic content on IT service management (ITSM) to help the participant to understand the context of how the ISO/IEC 20000 standard operates.
ISO/IEC 20000 practitioner
The ISO/IEC 20000 practitioner course is aimed at IT professionals who assist organisations to implement and/or maintain an ISO/IEC 20000 certification. Candidates who have passed this certification exam should understand and be able to apply the content of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard within currently certified organisations or those considering certification.
