KPMG in collaboration with AIMA presents the fourth edition of the leading research on Management Capability Index (MCI) 2016 and its progressive capability. The MCI is a comprehensive measure that helps organisations evaluate their business performance and identify growth indicators. Its primary purpose is to allow organisations to gauge their management capability, identify improvement areas and gain reliable insights into management best practices.
Identified after research and analysis, the MCI is computed by using ten fundamental drivers. This year, we witnessed a total of 600 responses (506 from the senior leadership band). Responses were spread over nine industries, including Automobiles, BFSI, Manufacturing, IT, Consumer Business, Life Sciences, Education, Professional Services and the Energy sector, to name a few.
The report takes a deep dive into industry wide scores across each of the dimensions and reasons for the same, along with key management initiatives that companies can focus on going forward.
