Team IIM Ahmedabad won the national finale for KPMG International Case Competition (KICC), held on 4 March 2017, in New Delhi, and shall now represent India at the International finale Lisbon, Portugal. This year, teams from 21 B-schools participated in the national competition in India, out of which six qualified for the final round. Team from IIM Kozhikode were the runner’s up of the national finale.
The KPMG International Case Competition (KICC) is a great way for students to connect with us early in their pursuit of a successful career with KPMG. KICC is an opportunity for B-School students to exhibit their case-solving abilities on a global platform. KICC participants are provided real world business scenarios to analyse and make recommendations to a panel of experienced KPMG professionals.
What sets this competition apart is its distinct format, fast-paced structure and feedback and mentoring by experienced KPMG professionals. In each round of the competition, the participants are required to analyse, prepare and present their findings on a case in a limited time frame.
At the finale in Lisbon, which takes places on 10 to 13 April 2017, teams will be presented with a series of complex business challenges to solve. New this year, traditional business cases will feature elements of Big Data, turning company data into useable insights and Fintech, using technology to drive disruption in the financial services industry.
