Abhishek is based out of Gurugram and has over 20 years of experience in advising clients on most indirect taxes including Customs, GST, Central Excise, Service Tax and VAT laws. He also specialises in various incentives for manufacturing in India including PLI, state incentives, benefits under foreign trade policy, etc.

Areas of expertise:

  • Abhishek has been extensively involved in advising multinational and domestic companies across a range of sectors such as infrastructure, power, IT, FMCG, financial services, etc.
  • He specialises in providing end-to-end services in relation to the fiscal incentives by state and Central government and setting up/expansion of new units
  • He also specialises in indirect tax advisory and litigation, in addition to a business advisor
  • Abhishek has been involved in advising multinational and domestic clients on optimising their supply chains from a tax perspective by way of tax modelling including providing strategic inputs on tax controversies
  • He has been involved in undertaking project advisory as well as advocacy with the government for specific issues
  • Abhishek has expertise in helping multinational companies for “Doing Business in India” and has been involved in advising clients on complex indirect tax matters
