As their trusted advisor, Sanjay supports them in dealing with aspects of family, ownership, and business. KPMG in India’s Enterprise practice supports privately-owned and family-owned businesses in planning growth, managing growth, funding strategies and in unlocking value. Sanjay works extensively with businesses assisting them in developing scalable and sustainable businesses, bringing insights for business opportunities and strategies for growth. He works closely with senior partners and teams within the firm to develop customised approaches for family and emerging mid-market businesses, and personally supervises projects to help ensure that the promoter, the business team and KPMG in India teams are aligned with one another and are working to meet the decided objectives.
Sanjay supports these businesses in India in terms of designing and implementing business performance improvements, business transformation, funding strategies, exit strategies and aspects such as succession planning, transition management and governance. The core of these approaches is working on cultural business issues and synergies, and delivering potential benefits across people, processes and technology areas of the business in a unified manner.
He has also worked with some of the key priority accounts of the firm, spanning both domestic and global corporates.
Sanjay has over 30 years of work experience, of which he has contributed 23 years to KPMG in India, since he joined the firm in 1993. His prior experience included working three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and three years with BCCI bank.
