Early childhood development is one of the most effective investments a country can make to build human capital and promote sustainable development. The care and attention a child receives in the first eight years of life –particularly during the first three years – are critical and influence the child for life.*

KPMG in India collaborates with organisations that impact the lives of young migrant children living on construction sites. These organisations set up day care centres, which focus on education, health, nutrition and overall development of a child’s social, emotional and cognitive needs in order to build a foundation for Lifelong Learning.

Volunteers interact with children at the Mobile Creches, Delhi NCR's day care centres
