KPMG today (14 September 2016) announced it is to continue its sponsorship of the Business & Finance Irish Business Awards which take place at the Convention Centre in Dublin on Thursday, 15 December. The awards programme, now in its 42nd year, is Ireland's longest running and most prestigious business awards and has honoured many of Ireland's leading businesses and business people over four decades including JP McManus, Michael Smurfit, Tony Ryan, Dermot Desmond, Liam O'Mahony, Willie Walsh, Peter Sutherland, and T.K. Whitaker.
This December, Sir Bob Geldof will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award. In addition Susan Whelan, CEO of Leicester City Football Club will receive Global Irish Outstanding Achievement in Business Award. Awards will also be made to Company of the Year, Business Person of the Year and FDI Company of the Year.
