The partners of KPMG in Ireland have recently re-elected Shaun Murphy as Managing Partner for a second three year term of office. Earlier in 2015, Shaun was elected as the Lead Director of KPMG's Global Board.
During Murphy’s first two years of office, reported firm revenues for KPMG in Ireland grew by 26% to €300m. Employee numbers are now over 2,200 - growing in the two year period by over 10% across its Audit, Tax, Deal Advisory and Consulting services.
Commenting on his re-election, Shaun Murphy said: ‘I’m delighted to be elected Managing Partner for a second term. I'm very proud of the way our teams deliver for clients and I look forward to leading the firm for another three years. The economic recovery offers fantastic opportunities to businesses and to our talented people.’
Shaun Murphy joined the firm in 1991 and was elected a partner in 1999. He held a number of management positions, including Head of Tax & Legal Services, before being elected Managing Partner in 2012.
Shaun is also a director of the KPMG EMA Board and of KPMG Capital, a Data & Analytics investment fund.
