Lending sentiment for real estate projects remains a crucial issue for developers, investors, banks and a range of other stakeholders. KPMG's Property Lending Barometer 2016 is a comprehensive publication that sizes up the prospects for bank financing in the real estate sector in 21 countries across Europe, compiling responses from nearly 100 banks across the Continent.

This year's edition bears good news and not so good news: it finds that financing conditions remain favourable in 2016 for the European property markets, similar to last year; however, overall business sentiment in most markets is less optimistic about further favourable changes in the future.
