Margaret established and manages the Regulatory Knowledge Centre. This function is an internal centre of expertise within KPMG Ireland servicing the firm in providing information on all regulatory matters, including providing frequent regulatory legislative updates and alerts to the firm and externally to the broader market.
She also specialises in regulatory frameworks identifying upstream requirements, interpreting these requirements, advising on their application and assisting clients develop plans with implementation. She has experience in performing gap analysis reviews for clients to assess their compliance against existing regulatory requirements, including the development of remediation and implementation plans to address gaps.
Prior to working in KPMG, Margaret spent nine years working in the Central Bank of Ireland in a variety of roles. She is also one of the examiners for the ACOI Professional Diploma in Compliance programme.
