Children and Education 

Early Childhood Education 

We support early childhood education or Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) as we believe that good quality education for young children is a foundation for building a dynamic society.

Since 2014 KPMG has been helping the needs of underserved children via our PAUD initiatives. Currently, KPMG offers financial aid to several PAUDs in the poorer sections of Jakarta and in other smaller cities in Indonesia to improve education facilities for young children. So far, we have helped more than 200 young children to improve their learning facilities and we also provided financial assistance for a PAUD teacher to continue her studies.

Financial assistance for vocational students 

We have taken a leading role in providing financial assistance for vocational students from humble backgrounds. Working together with Kechara Indonesia, a non-profit organization whose founders include several KPMG members, we have helped more than 10 vocational students to change their lives.

KPMG ASEAN Scholarship 

KPMG’s ASEAN Scholarship is a scholarship program for Southeast Asia students established in 2015 as the first regional scholarship program for young undergraduates looking to get a head-start in their careers with a professional services firm. This program is supported jointly by the KPMG member firms in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.  

 

Community 

We play an important and supportive role in contributing to the well being of our surrounding communities where we are located. Our people work with individuals and local community groups to make these areas a better place to live.

 

Environment 

We are committed to reducing paper use through numerous “Green Initiatives” and the digitalization of our reports, forms and other documents.
