The finding that family businesses make up 60% of the Greek economy, while not benefitting from representation by an official body, was enough for KPMG to take the challenge and organize a conference for family businesses. Participants agreed that the conference must become an institution.
The event took place in Egli Zappeion on 26 May. Entrepreneurs, members and shareholders of family businesses with representation from the first until the fourth generation came to hear eminent speakers analyze the key issues for family businesses and European and Greek business trends, as Governance (Governance), Succession Planning and Transition (Succession Planning & Transition) and Development (Growth).
