The 15th CFO Forum organized by KPMG in Greece on June 28, 2016 was successfully concluded. Distinguished executives were invited to talk about “The Changing Role of the CFO” as the title of this year’s Forum indicates.

Keynote speaker Dr. George Cooper, Economist, Fund Manager and Researcher during his two speeches “Money, Monetary Policy and Financial Instability” and “Rethinking Financial Market Behaviour and Long Term Investment Risks” shared his views on the way the economy works today based on conventional – and not only –  theories.  Moreover, George Venieris, Chairman of the Hellenic Accounting & Auditing Oversight Board was invited to talk about the new regulatory framework concerning the Mandatory Rotation of Statutory Auditors and Audit Firms.

In addition to the Forum’s presentations, the conference hosted panel discussions with distinguished CEOs and CFOs of the Greek market. Cyber security, Value Based Management and Data analytics were some of the presentation topics and discussions on which the panelists were called to comment on and share their business experiences. Finally during the conference the results of the global KPMG survey “The View from the Top: What do CEOs Actually Expect of their CFOs” were presented.
