Bent Dalager joins KPMG Denmark as a partner with responsibility for the new business area "NewTech" in the Nordics and as responsible for advisory services to the financial sector.

Nordic companies navigate a rapidly evolving competitive landscape where breakthrough technology, the volume of data, innovative business models and new regulations open up for immense opportunities and threats. Bent Dalager will be heading the new business area NewTech in KPMG Denmark which will focus on helping Nordic companies navigate and win in this new reality. NewTech covers the use of disruptive technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence and digital transformation more broadly.

As a partner at KPMG, Bent Dalager will have a dual responsibility, driving the NewTech agenda across industries. It embraces a wide range of areas, including financial technology (FinTech), medical technology (MedTech) and so-called regulatory technology (RegTech). In Denmark, Bent will report to Morten Mønster, partner and manager of Advisory in KPMG Denmark. In his Nordic role, Bent is responsible for the business strategic advisory to the financial sector and for setting up NewTech in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark reporting to the Nordic management group.

As a partner, he joins the global KPMG network of 174,000 people working across advisory, audit and tax, and has strong expertise in robotics and artificial intelligence.

In the Nordics, the advisory business includes approximately 1,000 advisers and more than 60,000 advisers worldwide.

Bent Dalager has been a partner in Accenture since 2001 where he has held several managerial roles in both Denmark and the Nordics. He has more than 25 years' experience from the advisory business and holds an MSc in computer science and mathematical science, a BA in management and has completed, among others, several management courses from Harvard University.
