KPMG in Denmark generated total revenue of DKK 277 million from 1 January to 30 September 2015. On a 12 month basis, KPMG tripled revenue to more than DKK 300 million against DKK 101 million in the first year of operation 2013/2014.

KPMG is on a journey characterised by our passion to deliver on our clients' needs, challenge the status quo and accelerate our growth potential. We share an ambition to become a catalyst for change to our surroundings and to our people. I believe this is the foundation for our future success,” said CEO and Senior Partner Thomas Hofman-Bang.

The positive commercial development continued at a faster pace than expected in KPMG’s second financial year, and total revenue from audit, assurance, tax advisory services, management consulting, risk consulting and deal advisory increased significantly to DKK 277 million (incl. DKK 72 million from KPMG Acor Tax) for 9 months against DKK 101 million for 13 months in financial year 2013/2014. Revenue was distributed as follows:

  • Audit of financial statements and other assurance services: 43%
  • Tax advice: 27%
  • Other advisory services: 30%

Overall, KPMG services more than 25% of Denmark’s 100 largest companies and more than half of the companies in the C20 Cap index on Nasdaq Copenhagen.

In 2015, KPMG established a strong foundation for continued progress with the election of a Board of Directors, which contributes to business development out of the two competency centres in Copenhagen and
Aarhus and approves strategies and action plans. Additionally, KPMG moved into the company’s new permanent headquarters ‘KPMG Front’ at Dampfærgevej in Copenhagen’s old free port. The new headquarters form the perfect framework for KPMG’s continued growth and the 450 employees’ cooperation across Advisory, Audit and Tax.

Chairman and Quality & Risk Management Partner Anette Harritz highlights; “Quality and risk management is the responsibility of everyone. As Chairman of KPMG, I take pride in the way we are all committed to an uncompromised focus on delivering the highest quality for the benefit of our clients and communities.
