KPMG 2014 today announces that Thomas Hofman-Bang will become its new CEO and Senior Partner. Thomas Hofman-Bang immediately takes up leadership of the newly established KPMG audit and advisory firm in Denmark.

Thomas Hofman-Bang (49) brings a unique combination of profound insight into the professional services business as well as a client perspective based on his experience as a senior business executive. Most recently, he was Group President and CEO of the NKT Group where he led the transformation of the group into a strong conglomerate focusing on four business areas and generating solid top line growth over his 13 years as CEO and CFO. Prior to that, he spent 4 years with Superfos A/S in the US and Denmark. He began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young where he provided assurance and advisory services to a broad client base for 13 years.

Thomas Hofman-Bang currently serves on a number of boards of prominent Danish companies and organisations. His directorships and advisory roles with commercial organisations are being reviewed in light of his new position as CEO and Senior Partner at KPMG 2014.
