The most significant change in personal data law for 20 years will take place on May 25, 2018 - in less than a year. The EU Personal Data Regulation (GDPR) poses requirements for how companies collect, process and protect personal data. However, many companies do not have the full overview of what GPDR entails in practice.
KPMG and Microsoft have collaborated with a number of Danish companies and have worked with the tools of the Regulation. Together, we have collected at number of practices on how companies can use the GDPR process to provide an overview of, and obtain a better understanding of the risk picture.
By using a platform that creates the best foundation for a fully compliant and secure solution, limit the data collection and manage the data flow, the company can document the data collection in an easier way, and thus comply with the Regulation requirements of accountability. This will enable the company to view data privacy as a competition parameter and a strong part of the company's value proposition
