Joakim has rich experience in designing and implementing delivery models across functions – both front-line and back-office. He has advised a number of Danish and international clients around their Global Business Services agenda, including establishment of optimal delivery options, detailed design of new processes, systems and organization, and actual implementation of selected set-ups. This includes both improvements within current foot-print, and movement or consolidation of activities into shared service centres or outsourcing to third party providers. Joakim has been publishing a number of thought leadership white papers and reports around the sourcing market, and has been interviewed around sourcing trends in Danish media at several occasions. Joakim is a certified and experienced project manager, and has been leading multinational projects both as a consultant and as a business manager. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and is advising both on specific process improvement initiatives, and on organizational deployments of process management. Prior to joining KPMG, Joakim held several positions within Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Process management in the A.P. Møller Mærsk Group. Joakim has strong international experience, and has lived and worked in Asia for more than five years, where he amongst others has designed and hands on implemented Customer contact and back office service centres. Through the combination of advisory experience and several years as a Line manager, Joakim is capable of blending a profound understanding of business and leadership challenges with consultancy skills. Joakim has worked with a number of shared services and outsourcing initiatives within various industries.
